Optimize your body's natural healing abilities!

Is Connections Physical Therapy, LLC right for you?

Have you gone through traditional PT and been disappointed by the results?

Susan has 28 years of experience, offers personalized care, and uses a blend of traditional and holistic techniques that address the underlying cause of the problem (not just the symptoms) and facilitate your body's natural healing abilities to allow you to move and feel better so you can do the things that are important to you.

Do you have unresolved pelvic, hip, tailbone or low back pain?

Susan has successfully helped many patients with these issues to walk, bend, sleep, and sit more comfortably  and return to an active lifestyle. She looks at the patient as a unique individual and uses a whole body approach to address the underlying causes their symptoms. Treatment may include manual therapy techniques, muscle re-education, and patient education regarding posture, body mechanics, self-care strategies and home exercises to expedite healing and prevent recurrence.

Do you have tenderness or limited neck or shoulder motion due to breast scars?

If you are having difficulty reaching into cabinets, looking up or turning your head to drive, connective tissue restrictions in your breasts may be limiting you. Gentle Myofascial Release to the breasts can help decrease breast pain or tenderness, improve neck and shoulder motion,  and eliminate neck and shoulder pain and headaches.   These techniques are effective for old or recent scars and can be used as a wellness treatment to prevent dysfunction and to optimize the health of your muscles, joints and breast tissue.

Have you had abdominal or pelvic surgery and notice that things don't feel right in that area?

Although your medical examination and testing may indicate that nothing is wrong, connective tissue restrictions do not show up on traditional testing. Gentle techniques including Myofascial Release and Visceral Manipulation address these restrictions and can relieve symptoms throughout your body, improve your overall feeling of wellness, and help you to return to doing the things you love. These techniques are beneficial whether your surgery was recent or many years ago! (Please see my testimonials page to learn what one patient had to say about her improvement from a 10 year old surgery!)

Do you want to move more easily, prevent wear and tear, and look and feel better naturally?

If you are motivated to achieve true health and wellness naturally, be an active participant in your care, and avoid pain medications or surgery, then Connections Physical Therapy is right for you.  Susan focuses on addressing the underlying cause of your problem instead of a providing a temporary "quick fix"  to address the current symptoms. Personalized physical therapy for specific issues, individualized wellness sessions, and wellness workshops are available to address a variety of needs. Please see the services tab or call Susan to determine which services are best to help you reach your goals.
